yearning for home is a music project born out of life at codnamacs. We write the lyrics in our spare time and produce the songs with AI. The voice belongs to Hasret Sıla Öztürk, the project's AI vocalist.

The name
The band name and the voice are the same wish.
In Turkish, "hasret" is the ache of longing, and "sila" is the home you are far from. Put together, Hasret Sıla is almost a direct translation of yearning for home. The project name and the vocalist carry the same meaning on purpose. Everything here lives inside that one feeling.

Hasret Sıla Öztürk is an AI vocalist.
In every song the music and the vocals are generated with AI. The lyrics, the emotion, and the direction come from a real human being. Every release is tagged as GenerativeAI on every platform, by us rather than by the platform, because the point was never to hide the method. It was to see how close a song can get to something real when the writing comes first and the tools come second.
If a line lands, it lands. That is the only test we care about.

The covers, the words to every song in Turkish and English, the videos, and the link to each platform are all kept in one place over there, and kept current. Listing them twice only meant one of the two lists would quietly go stale.
