About codnamacs

codnamacs is an independent macOS app studio focused on small, thoughtful tools for everyday work.

What we make

codnamacs builds native macOS applications with a focus on clarity, calm interfaces, and practical workflows.

Albert's Life is a small menu bar app for macOS. HearthGate is a Mac-side secure remote-access gateway for VNC over SSH. Each codnamacs app has its own product page, pricing, and license details.

How we review security

SILA, Security Integration & Lifecycle Architecture, is the codnamacs internal framework for reviewing security integration, lifecycle behavior, release readiness, and operational drift before and after launch.

SILA is not a third-party certification claim. It is the discipline codnamacs uses to keep security decisions visible, repeatable, and tied to real product behavior.

How we sell

codnamacs apps are sold as digital software. Albert's Life is sold as a 5 USD one-time purchase with a license key and activation on up to two Macs.

HearthGate is licensed per protected Mac, with multiple plan options such as Personal Standard, Personal Lifetime, and Commercial Host. The HearthGate product page describes the current prices, update terms, and commercial-use model.

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record for checkout, taxes, invoices, refunds, and payment support.

Who operates codnamacs

codnamacs is operated by Murat Öztürk.
